The Massachusetts Recreational Consumer Council (MRCC) was a 501c4 organization that gave power to consumers.

We helped legalize cannabis in Massachusetts in 2016. We developed educational campaigns that translated complex policy changes into accessible narratives. This translation allowed us to foster civic engagement and movement-building. We gathered information from the community to synthesize and draft policy.

I take great pride in our groundbreaking achievements, as we not only led the successful lobbying efforts that led to the establishment of the nation's first social equity program but also secured our position as the inaugural elected technical assistance provider for the esteemed MA cannabis social equity program.
